We ensure that our staff are well equipped to provide you with the best service as you dine with us. We take great efforts to always ensure that our patrons are satisfied starting with greeting by our smiling staff upon entry, leading to helping you place the order, and all the way to the food being prepared and served.
Our food and recipes encompass the tradition of our South Indian culture – where spices add flavour and have healing properties too. The methods used to prepare our foods also stem from traditional processes which help us give you the best experience in dining with us.
At Sri Ananda Bhavan we believe in the ancient Hindu script “Athithi Devo Bhava” which means that “The guest is equivalent to God”, and we make sure to satisfy every guest that walks through our doors. Our menu is traditional yet diverse. We serve mouth-watering South Indian breakfast throughout the day, traditional Thali (Meals) for lunch and dinner including our special Kalyanasappadu, and Indo Chinese for the adventurous guest. Our exclusive Coffee counter serves authentic South Indian “filter” coffee.

Our trained staff will be available to offer you the best service throughout the day. Even though we do not serve food in our garden area yet, we do encourage our guests to step out to take in a breath of fresh air and soak up the sun.
Our fine dining restaurant is located on the Princess Highway, opposite Fountain Gate shopping centre.
We had heard all good reviews about this Indian Vegetarian cuisine restaurant by word of mouth and this evening finally had our first experience right from the initial courteous greeting by cheerful smiling staff to the prompt service with our order! And then the quality and taste of the food! Awesome! Enjoyed every bit/bite....too! Fantastic service in all aspects including the clean and well presented kitchen! We have tried many South Indian restaurants around the world and in Victoria. This is one of the best ones! The authentic flavour, great portions and value for money, friendly staff and open plan seating. Can highly recommend. We are a vegan family and had a fiest here.
